Vechta-Calveslage – BD AgroRenewable’s (BD AGRO) delivery of the spiral filter press to the market represents a milestone in the development of digestate separation. In contrast to existing systems, the new type of separator from the Big Dutchman Group’s subsidiary separates liquids from solids larger than 0.1 mm very reliably. A further novelty: in contrast to the commonly used horizontal spiral auger based machines, the auger of the BD AGRO separator is vertical and does not work against built-in resistance. The result: The energy use is very low and the leakage of un-separated digestate is a thing of the past.
In addition, OptiSep can be cost-effectively extended as the biogas system grows. The BD-Agro innovation, which can be used for digestate with up to 12% dry matter content, is constructed from few components - it is robust and reliable. A patent has been applied for. BD AGRO is part of the Big Dutchman Group and offers all services concerning the planning, the turn-key construction and the supervision of biogas units world-wide. As a partner in agriculture and industry, BD-Agro harnesses the potential of biogas as an energy source of the future. As a builder of biogas units, the biogas system developer cooperates with experienced high performance partners from right across the Big Dutchman Group. Being embedded in the structure of a world-leading company, BD Agro gives its customers long-term security and is pleased to be the preferred partner into the future.
