The Czech biogas plant market is a boom market, Mairose points out. BD AGRO therefore planned its market launch together with its Czech partner BD TECH s.r.o. at an early stage. The results of this partnership to date are already impressive. The first BD AGRO biogas plant was completed recently and is already producing significant quantities of electricity and heat. The plant has a capacity of 1,800 kWel, is located in Kraliky and is operated with corn silage, grass silage, grain and manure. It is one of the biggest agricultural biogas plants in the Czech Republic. Two biogas plants with 1,200 kW and with 600 kW provide electricity for around 4,000 households. The biogas plant has become known far beyond the region where it is located and many interested visitors come to view its convincing technology and implementation with a view to placing a subsequent order for such a biogas plant by BD AGRO. "Due to the amount of visitors' tours and the very positive statements from our satisfied customers, at present we have quite a lot of interesting projects in the pipeline", says Alexander Mairose. Thus there is still a lot of work to do in the Czech Republic, however it is already well underway. |
