The Hungarian biogas market is still in its infancy; nevertheless it is evaluated as a promising future market due to the geographic and natural resources of the country. Recently therefore, at Renexpo 2010 - the Hungarian leading trade fair for renewable energies held in Budapest - BD AGRO took the opportunity of exhibiting for the first time together with our Hungarian partner company, Első Honi Biogáz Kft. (EHB). Both companies were able to provide numerous interested experts with fundamental know-how concerning biogas technology and give them some detailed advice.

Within the context of the cooperation, the Hungarian EHB is of extremely valuable assistance on site. The service provider, an expert in all questions relating to Hungarian agriculture, is in a position to supply comprehensive advice on issues such as grant applications or approval procedures and is also the contact for potential new customers. The biogas plant manufacturer BD AGRO, part of the Big Dutchman group, supplies the technology and the required know-how.

"Precisely because the potential is still far from being exhausted, there are plenty of opportunities for active involvement. And once our presence in Hungary has been effectively established, a real boom in biogas plants may be expected", explains the BD AGRO sales manager Alexander Mairose, with a confident view to future developments.
